A tasty wine, although perhaps a touch less evolved than prior bottles. Red fruit, spice, herbs, a bit of tar, some tannins and less earth than the other bottles. Delicious on its own and Donna's grilled Atlantic salmon, but just a touch overpowered by the aged German riesling. (Surprisingly). A great wine for $21 (on close-out). Drink now or perhaps hold

This was Jen's favorite wine of the night. Great red fruit, spice, tar, some earth and some herbs. A great pairing with the grilled chicken kebabs, the beef and the vegetables. A 2009 pinot showing a pointe tonight.

While the aromas and taste were of sweet red fruits, the acidic imbalance really hurt this wine. This one bottle was consumed over three days, but it did not improve.

This is a dark in the glass pinot. There is plenty of fruit, but not over fruitty. It has some earth in the wine. It looks and drinks like a fine burgundian.

Red fruit, spice and a few herbs. Very good with our roasted duck. With Janet and Craig in Kingston. This was our last bottle, I think. Drink now.

Much better than the last bottle. Dark red fruit, spice, tar. Best with Donna's beef burgundy.

Does not taste like a pinot at this point. Very dark. Like candied black cherry + coca cola. Not bad but not what you'd expect.

This took on some serious weight of dark fruit and spice the longer it was open which was fine with me but maybe not for all.

A very nice red fruit aroma. Very little acidic imbalance. Delicious cherry flavor.

Drinking well now but should develop well. A bit closed now but still very pleasant nose. Balanced.
