A bit overripe for my palate, but still balanced in a Zindfandel kind of way. Reminiscent of a well made $15.00 grocery store Zin. Medium Short slightly hot finish.

Opened with pasta. This brambly zin showing dark complexion and spicy overtones of prune, plum, pepper, dank blackberry cobbler. Slight heat, but not too bad at 15.5%, some soyen notes to go along with the aromatics, and maturing dark fruits. This does need some air to open before tasting its best.

Started out like raisins, then got bitter, then had alcoholic nose, then finally mellowed out and was quite good after an hour. So let it sit for a while before drinking. Probably no longer good soon

Expressive nose of blackberry jam, red raspberry, baking spice and camphor. Medium body of black raspberry, blackberry, pepper and licorice. medium plus smooth finish.

This Grande magnum was full of rich, bright, deep fruit flavors with very smooth tannins. Well balanced with a clean finish.
