This Barolo is an insanely good value at this price point. It has the trademark ruby - garnet color, tart red fruit, ripe black cherry and blue plum, red flowers, tobacco and a little earth. The palate is dry, with medium (+) acidity, medium (+) tannins and medium (+) alcohol at 13.5%. I would have thought it cost two to three times as much. [As far as some of the other, earlier reviewer's ratings are concerned, they either really dislike Nebbiolo, drank it too young, or there's a lot of bottle variation.]

- Garnet color with fast forming legs and aromas of raspberry, strawberry jam and violet. It's balanced and has flavours of raspberry and strawberry jam with a medium body. Fleshy texture with a medium finish - Having read other notes on this wine, I opened my bottle in an unpretentious Sunday afternoon . I must say I was surprised on the upside. Strong on the nose, I noticed dark red fruit and leather scents, and some spices. It is already showing some signs of evolution, the tannins were present and will take some time to soften completely. But acidity was good and the wine is balanced. Not particularly long, but very enjoyable with meet.

I tasted the 2007 vintage on 3 occasions last year and this year. All I can say I outright dislike it. Tastes unpleasant. Unfortunately I still have one bottle in my cellar.

Normally I am not the Barolo type, simply because the Nebbiolo grape does not match my pallette... I know that this Barolo is not high quality, but I actually think that it was soft with some acidity, ripe fruit and overall a good wine....

Rather old tasting, quite a bit of amber and soft mature fruits - not unpleasant, but not anything like I expected from an, albeit cheap, Barolo. No real sense of place at all.

Tråkigt. Saknar struktur och längd. Inte alls vad jag förväntar mig av en barolo.

Attractive aromas of violets and hedgerow. Smooth dark berries, nice acidity and a touch of toffee.

A bit better than a previous bottle that tasted old. Held up for the second day - some Barolo character but not a great deal.
