Same as always ... delicious. With shrimp sauteed with garlic and grapefruit juice (made by me while DDB is sick) .... and then that night I go down sick; for 3 days!

My goodness! Liquid gold in a glass; a room filling bouquet; captivating white fruit flavors and all for $20. This must be the QPR of the year. But the highest compliment of all was the Spousal Unit’s comment of, “This goes down too easily.” So good, we had to open a second bottle. It’s a 50/50 blend of Rousanne and Grenache Blanc that delivers apple, pear, lychee and a hint of petrol and a finish of mineral. Gobs of lip smacking white fruit; the type that leaves juice dripping from the corners of your mouth. 13.8% alc. With lemon chicken in onion sauce. Recommended leaning to Highly Recommended.

This is consistently one of my favorite Calif. white Rhone blends. The heart of the Roussanne with the freshness of the Grenache Blanc. Tasty, tasty, tasty...

- Light gold color and aromas of apricot. It's somewhat balanced and has flavours of melon and cut green grass with a full body. Satin-Like texture with a medium finish.

Light yellow-gold. Clear and brilliant. Nose has cream, vanilla and lovely fresh white Rhone grape aromas. Even a hint of white peach. Excellent palate. Nice mix of expressive fruit, oak and acidity. Perfect balance and with good presence on the palate though quite light on its feet. I would not age it a long time, drink it know with shellfish for its bright fruitiness, or as an aperitif. 5-12-16-7: 90/100.

More acidic, minerally and approachable young than the 09, which benefitted from some time in bottle (and still probably will)

Trip to Solvang and Los Olivos (Los Olivos, CA and Solvang, CA): Tasted non-blind at their tasting room. Very tropical on the nose, even some bananas. Apples on the palate with more bananas. Smooth finish. Drink now and over the next 18 months or so.
