Same as before, although for sure an overall better bottle this time. More animalistic on the nose, and a more distinct "forest in decay", too. Good tannic mouth grip indicating, it may keep for a few more years easily, I guess.

Slightly maturing colour yet still a bit light. Earthy/tertiary nose with a distinct matureness. On the palate slightly more subdued than the last bottle. A very subtle yet also rustic and solid effort from one of the best Nuit St Georges-producers in my view. Tannins present and took on a potroast and risotto Milanese nicely. Overall, the last few bottles I had were better - I am eager to see what my last two bottles will show.

mid-light colour. Little early nose but soft i the mouth with light but lingering tannins. Drinking well now and over next few years. Not as firm and long as the 1er Crus but a lovely wine

Coravin preserved this just fine, but like the last time I found this to be merely competent Burgundy, nothing special.

True to producer reputation, this is still a bit hard and tannic. Won't ever be great, but a decent village NSG.

Same as my note on 11/24/2011 - a very good bottle, unfortunate the last. It even did better in my direct comparison with Gouges' 1. cru Les Pruliers.

Animal aromas, firm tannins, still very fresh with fruti flavours and an absolute pleasure to drink.

Académie des Cinquante Burgundy Tasting (Jan Tabak, Bussum, the Netherlands): Excellent cherry fruit, nice depth, tea; good weight and structure, touch of vanilla, good finish.
