My last of a case…really one of my favorite new world Pinots ever ….immediately approachable …nose of raspberries and kiwi . Still youthful and explosive . Light raspberry and strawberry Tapestriy interwoven with kiwi and blueberry …long finish …ethereal …slight spice in the finish .

getting up there in age...give 30 mins of air and it sings again! Consistent with my last tasting note/score other than needs 30 mins to come together.

Big mouthful of dark, rich fruit. Great balance and fully resolved. I think this is likely past it's peak now but it is super good. My last bottle. (14.5% alc)

Alas my last bottle of this vintage and it was wonderful! Big black cherry and plum, forest floor, mushroom, peppery finish. Absolutely palate pleasing!

This is the "apple orchard". From all Martinelli fruit. Very high toned Grenachy fruit character. I guess I am going to be tasting Grenache in my Pinots these days. Fresh and vibrant. Holds itself up. Expensive.

Enjoyed this bottle with a sausage stuffed pork tenderloin wrapped in bacon. It is a relatively full bodied Pinot Noir that paired perfectly with dinner.

Too much new new world french oak/fruit-bomby stuff going on right now, but this a very well-made pinot noir, and I expect this to get moderately (hopefully significantly) better in the next 2-3 years in the cellar. It will be fascinating to see how these pinots develop over the next decade. If the oak backs off a touch and the fruit/spices/terroir start to express themselves and balance the wine out adequately this could go up a few points, easily. I can see why many people will like this now, but we drink wine far too young here in the US. For $55 you can find much better balanced young burgundies, but if this integrates it will rival many expressions of the grape out there.

Nice west coast Pinot. Cola, bright fruit yet medium bodied which was a nice surprise. (90)

Wow I love this...dark, dusty tannins laced with kiwi, seawater, cola, rhubarb, blueberries. Long finish and integrated. Great QPR.
