I was worried it may be at it's end, but the 2009 is still just past peak. I think it could go 4 or 5 more years. Full of fruit with a wonderful nose, it's just a joy to drink.

Still tasting great!! I agree with my tasting note of over twenty months ago. Consume at diner with friends. Nearly perfect cork, easily removed. My last bottle of this vintage.

Drinking great right now !! Perfect cork after a decade in the bottle. Consumed over two days. Fruit burst on the first day and on day two this balanced wine really shined; it had softened with increased depth and integrated complexity. Deep ruby color with little to no oxidation, clarity medium. Aromas of pomegranate and strawberry. Flavors of black cherry cola and raspberry with a hint of forest floor. This Pinot Noir has a long finish. A balanced and flavorful Pinot Noir. This age worthy wine has more years of life left. A great Pinot Noir and a great winemaking effort.

Dark ruby color, nose of raspberry, strawberry and cola, the wine has a ton of fruit still with nice acidity and subtle tannins that are pretty smooth after 10 years. Long delicious finish. Drinking beautifully.

The tannin seems pretty much resolved at this point. As in my last two tastings, aromas and flavors of raspberry, hints of blueberry, cigar box from the oak, spice and cola. This time there was also a strawberry component. Full bodied, with intense fruit. Nice structure. A long, soft and somewhat oaky finish. This time it pairs well with grilled Opah.

Last tasted 6 months ago. At the time I indicated I wasn't going to open the next bottle for a year - I guess I lied. That's OK as the wine seems more resolved than when last tasted. Similar nuances as the last time: "aromas and flavors of raspberry, some blueberry, cigar box from the oak, spice and some cola. Fairly full bodied and intense fruit. Good structure." A soft, velvety and long finish. I like the wine a little better this time. Pairs nicely with turkey and fixings from last Sunday.

Dark garnet body; somewhat opaque. Still purple on the rim. Aromas and flavors of raspberry, some blueberry, cigar box from the oak, spice and some cola. Fairly full bodied and intense fruit. Good structure. Tannins are not totally resolved, but resolved enough to enjoy the wine now. Still, I'll wait a year or so before opening the next bottle. A long and fairly lingering finish. Paired nicely with Atlantic salmon.

Pop and pour and followed over two days, first with food (rigatoni with meat sauce (gravy) in case you were wondering), and then on its own the next day. Wonderful nose of red fruit with some earth and spice. The wine is rich and concentrated, perhaps a bit sweet, but carries it well. It has enough acidity to balance the ripe fruit. Smooth on the long finish.

First ever bottle of this vineyard. And maybe become the flagship of the RC lineup. Very dense and concentrated without high alcohol. Very good balance between the right and darker fruits on the palate. Very long finish. This will become a very good wine when it matures. Save the rest for a while. Still tightly wound.

Very full-bodied Pinot Noir. Fruit-forward, well integrated tannins.
