PnP - but a little rough around the edges so decanted 45 minutes. This came across as a somewhat elegant Left Bank BDX from a slightly ripe vintage. Smoky cassis and cedar on the complex nose. Structured, somewhat concentrated fruit on the palate that needed time to unwind showing currants and red fruit with a dollop of plums (from the Merlot?). Some interesting minerality and tannins on the brambly raspberry finish with a hint of mocha. The fruit has not faded and the structure tells me that well stored bottles have several years of peak enjoyment ahead - but recommend a 1+ hour decant! 92+

Drank side by side with a 2014 L'Ecole Ferguson (because what else are we going to do when we are locked inside). This is still getting better. Mostly red fruits like cherry, raspberry, cranberry. Nice earthy, leather notes. Developing the aged secondary notes I really enjoy. This won the battle tonight.

Drinking very nicely. Hour decant. Strong notes of tobacco and leather on the nose, dark chewy fruits on the palette. Well balanced, paired wonderfully with vegan chili and vegan chocolate cake!

Not sure what I was expecting from this but I didn't find. The wine wasn't bad but I could have gotten the same excitement out of a $10 bottle. I found this to be a very boring wine.

Enjoyed with rare lamb chops. This wonderful Bordeaux style Walla Walla blend had been in my cellar since 2011 and was worth the patience.

Structure, density, powerful stuff here. From the old block. Tuff stuff and really well done. I'd go $90, I betcha its less.
