Quite nice. Pop and pour from cellar. Showing a little pink at the edges. A bit of mint and parsley on the nose. Cassis, pepper and lettuce greens on the palate. Chewy and long finish.

Very good straightforward CdP. Drinking nicely, for me thi s is early in the drinking window - still fairly fuity, but with some complexity coming on. No rush.

Impression only, but nice. Really lovely chocolate raspberry flavors - a little soft and lush, but very easy to drink and enjoy; finish sort of tapers out, not particularly long. Nose doesn't stand out but overall a very nice weeknight wine with good value.

Pretty good example of this popular wine that very representative. (I wrote this without any reference to the earlier comment and was amazed that I had used similar language - I assume the first bottle was not up to scratch.)

I was surprised by this bottle as it was rather light and did not have much body. I have drunk CdP pretty often but this did not rank as highly or even as highly as some from the same supplier.
I have two more bottles the same so maybe this one was not representative. We shall see

14.5% ABV. Translucent medium garnet in the glass. Fairly textbook CdP nose of kirsch and balsa wood. Medium-full bodied with a slightly feminine ripe cherry personality. This is tasty and easy to like. 92-93ish. Drinking well now.

What I'm looking for in a CdP. Current forward on the nose with a light, pleasant barnyard funk. Supple tannins with a moderately wide mouthfeel of current, dark cherry, shoe leather with a hint of metal. Moderate finish leaves an elegant impression.

This wine was fun but uncomplex. I was hoping for more since I opened this bottle in lieu of another CdP. Light and young.paired with grilled steaks.

Pretty darn good...hanging in there nicely. Open for 30 min in the bottle before drinking with no dropoff over a 90 minute dinner.

A nicely balanced CdP but a little light compared to some
