Beatiful red brown, which made me expect oak on flavour. That was a surprise, presented as thin and soft. Definitely red fruity. Good wine, but nothing special.

A solid, but uninspiring rendition of Chianti. We have been drinking Chianti lately, because we trust that they are rarely over oaked, or over the top, and almost always bring that black cherry, and graphite flavor. This one does not have enough explosive fruit to keep things really interesting. Competent, balanced and integrated. Just not real complex. I suspect this one may be a little colsed, and might respond to decanting, or the vinturi.

Had I paid more than $5, I would be less charitable... but given the on-sale price point, it's a good, cheap Chianti with a surprisingly (to me) floral and an enticing nose. The in-Italy versions of this type of wine I drank once upon a time always had, simultaneously, more coarseness and more pizazz. This was smoother than cheap Chianti used to be, ISTM. A sign of the internationalization of wine? Other reasons?

Good, very inexpensive chianti for pizza or cheese pairing. This one provides some of that leathery and acidic combination that I expect from better chianti. Medium body. Mild to moderate tannins. Color is medium burgandy.

- Purple color with medium forming legs and aromas of artificial grape. It's overly acidic with a light/medium body. Smooth texture with a short finish.

Tunt, för lätt och med ganska syrlig eftersmak, kort smak. Rött vin i all sin enkelhet...

Drinkable, but uninspiring. Probably missing the structure and backbone of many Chianti's. Light fruit.

Just not much here. Lacked any real complexity and character. Tried a glass on day 1 and day 2 with no improvement. I then used it for cooking.
