I had this bottle for 8 years in the cellar. Worth the wait and could have stayed there longer. Still fresh and some grip with the tannins. It opens up beautifully with secondary flavours after an hour or so. Juicy and elegant, refined

This is s wonderful big dry wine. There is a lot of dark fruit as you first taste it. This is followed by spice and tannins. Oh yeah, let's not forget earth. And dry tannins. The finish is long and dry with a nice spice. This was excellent with an Italian dinner. Think I'd like it with any full bodied dinner. .

Fantastic wine and it's drinking wonderfully. Excellent combo of fruit, bramble, tar, sour cherry that's is mouth-filling at the same time with beautiful acidity and structure.

Vindredi (Bellevue, WA): Tasted blind. Dark fruit and earth. Full bodied, with rich, fine tannin and crazy length on the finish. Definitely lots of acid, but seemingly in balance with the big body.

Tasted blind. Old world nose with hints of "port". Old world style overall, and very long delicious finish. Great acid structure. My rank: 2/4 Group rank: 2/4

modern style barolo, crowd-pleasing style. Dried fruits, cherry, spice. Enjoyable as a pop and pour and well-matched to pasta, meat, tomato dishes. It won't fade away, but this does not (IMO) have the structure/style to improve with age - so enjoy now.

Nebbiolo Prima #119 This continues along the footpath worn by the 2006 effort, ripe and modern. However, it seems the challenges of the vintage (as opposed to 2006) may have prompted more care in the vineyards, and the resulting wine echoes these efforts soundly. Soft, almost velvety red fruits swathed with dry, very fine-grained tannins all float along a racy core of natural acidity. The result, a modernly-styled wine with balance and promise. Drink thru 2031.

Heavy, a bit sweet, borderline hot, placeless.

This 2007 is in a perfect drinking window with vivid acidity combining with a velvet touch for a great experience.
It's not an "in your face" wine. It requires time to show its beauty.
Don't expect raw power from this cru. Balance and elegance are its strength.

Very good wine, rather complex, but could be a little more full-bodied.

Otimo. Complexo, bem tipico. Jovem porem com os taninos mais "calmos" do que qdo tomamos na confraria no passado. 92
