I do love me these '03 Pd'Ors! Tasted blind: The guy bringing this bottle knows I've raved about the purity of fruit on these wines in this vintage. Beautiful Framboise nose but as one of the more serious bottlings in their line-up, the palate shows much deeper and darker fruit. 96 point nose right now, the big mystery is where these are headed going forward. I have 4 of these in the cellar, will enjoy their more entry level wines over the shorter term.

Upon opening, a nose of bright cherries and some oak, but not much else. Placed in decanter and revisited in 4 hours. Opened up nicely, with more complex elements, definitely forest floor and floral tones. Exceeded expectations, especially regarding the hot year. I definitely recommend at least a 2 hours air time to start.
