Pop and poured. Drank over a few hours at B&B PP & home. Appearance is clear, medium itensity, yellow gold colour. Legs. Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of sweet glue/petroleum, stony minerality, pineapple, apricot. Developed. On the palate, dry, very high acidity, medium alcohol (13%), medium+ body. Pronounced flavour intensity, with flavours of ripe citrus lemon peel, apricots, ripe orange peach, pineapple, stony minerality, honey. Long finish. Very good quality. Intense concentration and gastric ulcer-inducing high acidity. This screams for food. This is not a wine for a relaxed drink, though objectively a very good wine. Will last for another 4-5 years but at peak drinking already. I don't think this acidity is gonna be tamed by time.

Monthly Tasting Group HWS #109; Vertical of 10 vintages Mas de Daumas Blanc plus some other whites. (By DJ): Beautiful bouquet with soft yellow fruits, apricots and some mint. On the palate in the start a lot of citrus (lemon), some flowers and candy stick. Then in fact all the tart fruits you can think of. Lemon peel in the finish. For me personally the acidity in this wine is a bit overdone, but I can imagine that some will appreciate it. Good concentration.

A very yellow, spicy nose of tangy lemon, dandelion, yeast and vanilla. A lovely, really interesting nose here. On the palate completely dry yet perfectly ripe. Definitely has some tartness, but without being aggressive or out of balance at all. Dominating flavor being really attractive sour lemon, there is also tight minerality, tea and yeast to be found. Good weight, absolutely no baby fat and lipsmackingly high acidity. Not a crowd pleaser, but a seriously delicious, intense wine with personality for acid freaks. Not totally unlike Z-H's basic Riesling, being quite austere in the best possible way.
2nd day: even better, although took a good while in the glass to open up (the nose was almost mute at first). Truly a great dry Chenin that challenges its drinker, but also rewards. A beautifully crafted wine with personality.

8/10 - Rich and creamy with a lovely vanilla bean nose (and not the cheapo vanilla ice cream or oak-style vanilla, but real good fresh vanilla beans). Otherwise, very clean and linear on the nose. Not too much fruit and very crisp. Enjoyable and very drinkable.
Drank at Lolla's for L's birthday

Bit over the hill, with fruit fading, but still has bright acidity. It is past its peak so drink soon!

Lovely sharp acidity but backed up by citrus, lemon and grapefruit, light honey, touch of lanolin. Very lively. Great food wine, still living well.

fiinty nose, tremendous minerality and hint of citrus. went perfectly with turbot and butter sauce at Les Escargot in Saumur.

This is very pretty and clean and a real joy to drink. Stony and some lemon. Will not re-buy at the high $30s price point, though.

très peu expressif. Manquant de gras, mais droit dans ses bottes et à attendre.
