Bravo.

Tremendously balanced and a point. Reinforces my view about a) the age worthiness of the Estate wine and b) my preference for this over Hunting Hill, Coddington, etc

Kumeu River Masterclass (PWS Melbourne): Medium gold. Nose showing full development. Has aged pretty well but something just not quite in full balance. Shows that the Estate can certainly hold its own with age, but based on this tasting my preference would be to drink these about 4-5 yrs post-vintage.

A wine with zip. Beautiful bouquet of pears and pineapple. Still good acidity, stuctured, strong mid palate, bright, lively. Mellwoed out significantly since last drank about 2 years ago. A good example of how a white wine can improve with aging. Loved it. Too bad it's my last bottle.

Excellent chardonnay, de la classe d'un beau bourgogne, avec la chaleur et l'exubérance du Nouveau Monde en plus. Vraiment très bien, pourra se peaufiner sur quelques années.

As good a wine as we remembered from our last sampling in mid 2006. However given the Stelvin closure I doubt that additional cellar aging will add significantly to the taste profile.

This wine seems to be fairly controversial on CT. This wine is very burgundarian. Do not buy it if you are looking for an american styled chardonnay. I agree with Spectator's assessment...pale yellow and there are lots of lemons and pears with mineral/slate/stone backdrop. They nailed it. Take a look at their drinking window (2007-2014). This wine opens a lot and develops more when it becomes warmer. We drank it over the course of 3 hours. For $20 from Costco I think it deserves a place in my cellar for a good experiment. My money is on the wine.

I love the Chardonnay from this producer. I think it is so much more refreshing than CA-based Chardonnay. Lite, crisp, fruity with mineralty. Don't be deceived by the score as I couldn't imagine scoring any white wine > 95 points.

Just enough going on to warrant a "very pleasant", but far from exceptional. Will age improve this wine? I'm not willing to make the investment to find out.

Crisp apple and pear flavors with strong acidity and overwhelming minerality. Did not find this enjoyable to drink.

Very nice hints of minerals, similar to a Chablis, fruit is a bit hidden, may need some more bottle aging.
