Délice! Attaque un peu vive mais la rondeur et les fruits mûrs se manifestent rapidement dans un mélange riche et assez long. On prend plaisir à le humer avant d'en faire profiter nos papilles. Définitivement à un bon stade de sa vie...pas certain qu'il peut en donner beaucoup plus.

Rien de nouveau à dire sur ce produit. Trois ans plus tard il ne semble pas y avoir eu une grande évolution. L'acidité est encore assez présente, peut-être faut-il encore quelques années...

Assez bien fait mais on peine à reconnaitre le pinot...pour le terroir on passera. Beau nez, assez moderne fruit et boisé. Bouche ronde et fruité, assez long avec un peu de chauffe!

I decanted the wine for one hour before I poured the first glass and the wine kept improving wit air. It was medium to light ruby in colour. The wine triggered forest-like associations, with aromas of forest berries, herbs, ash, forest floor, underbrush, autumn leaves and a hint of smoke on the expressive nose, and flavours of sweet fruit (mixed berries, cherry), mushroom and spice, paired with good acidity, medium-plus tannin, a nice spiciness, a rich mouthfeel and tremendous length. The medium-bodied wine seemed very extracted; the tannin softened with aeration. The wine grew on me over time and I liked it even better on day two. To me it needs another two to three years in the cellar, but it definitely showed good potential. I would start drinking in 2016. 91 points for the time being.

Pinot Noir de la maison Schubert (Nouvelle-Zélande) Moi qui ne suis pas tellement nouveau monde, ce pinot me séduit à chaque fois. Kai Schubert était présent au salon des vins à Montréal en 2009. Un autre passionné....
Belle robe rubis claire et brillante beau nez de petits fruits noirs et de cendre. En bouche, l'explosion de saveurs ne se fait pas attendre. Fraise, poivre, épices et champignons se partagent la bouche. L'acidité est très relevée avec un boisé encore très présent qui pourra balancer l'acidité et le fruit pendant plusieurs années. La finale est longue et savoureuse.

Concentrated, dense Pinot Noir with very pure black fruit, soy, tobacco and umami. Black toasty tannins. Tightly wound but really energetic and expansive in the mouth. Really well put together with strong, full but not sweet fruit and enough acid to balance. This is really wonderful wine. Drinking well with plenty of life, this is only going to get better. A-

Some SO2 (I guess...) upon opening that faded away after an hour. Nice chalkiness and tannins. Elegant and food friendly, but way overpriced. 88+
