Holy CA ripeness. Gobs of blackberry and plum fruit with some acidity that kicks in from late mid palate to finish. Candied roses and plums. Full throttle pinot noir. Hedonistic...a busty, seductive temptress. It's certainly a style. I enjoy Siduri but do not expect Burgundy here. Apparently 2010 was a very cool year but after tasting this, does that even matter in California?

Opened not decanted. A dry sour cherry attack; ends with a drying citrus finish. Good. (I only received a tiny pour as my wife and her gal pal killed the bottle while I was cooking lasagna. Sorry for the brevity).

Second bottle this evening. Everyone liked the Siduri St. Rita Hills better, but that had some time to breathe, and this was pop and pour. Perhaps it wasn't a fair comparison, but I will buy the Rita Hills over this one.

Cheap drinker reeking of cola, sweet candy and fruit. There is wine to drink up over ice cubes, bad food to wash down and people who think fine wine starts with Lancers..... This winery makes many many fine bottles, but their entry level is just that - sub basement!
I know I sound like a Grinch compared to the sycophants who posted such glowing reviews earlier, but SERIOUSLY folks, there is a lot of good/great stuff out there and ask the winery itself if you don't believe me, this is entry entry entry level stuff and while they are most flattered that you rated this so highly, they are laughing at you between the talk, the joints and the wine.

Simple but not bad. Really lacks depth. Flavor is ok. A bit hot.

At its peak, a big full blown, no holds bared CA Pinot. Not for the faint of heart! Yummy

A bold, fruit forward pinot. Well balanced and full of flavor.

Not my style of Pinot Noir. Too tart and hot - all the subtleties of the varietal are lost.
