Tart red/black cherry, cranberry, and strawberry fruit. Notes of cola, baking spice, cinnamon, and subtle earth. Still has some nice acidity to it on the long finish. Still drinking nicely after 9 years.

On opening, notes of cola, spice, and extracted dark fruit. After 30 mins, those extracted plum, blackberry, blueberry, black cherry flavours gave a nice round mouthfeel with a nice sweetness and spice. Supple tannin, with a mild and restrained oak finish.
Really enjoyed, and was glad to have purchased a second bottle.

Really has come around since my note of 2012. Elegance with delicious juicy fruit. Dark cherries and earthy forest meld perfectly with great texture. Good length, smooth, and very well balanced. Not the most complex but it's so well composed with great flavor and excellent pinot character. Excellent.

4th Saturday Group brown bagger (M/M thelostverse): Notes of cola, cherries and spice. Nice fruit on the palate, more dark than red, with hints of cola and cherry. Nicely balanced and finishes well. Guessed 2010 Sonoma Pinot.

Great wine! Tasted with a horizontal of August West Rosella's and Loring Rosella's. All were fantastic wines and it was great to see how amazing wine makers put their own stamp on wines from the same vineyard and vintage.

Hands off this one. I have no idea what others are drinking but this is so far from fruity tutty cola candy I don't even know what to say. This was so backward and reduced on day one as to be undrinkable. Back in the fridge. Very interesting on day two. Some big smoky character on the nose with the reduction receding, cool and serious. The palate is showing some red/black fruits and tons of earth, is incredibly silky, but there is still a ton of tension in the structure as the tannins clamp down. The fruit core is so wound up it nearly lept out of the glass on a couple tastes. This needs some time, serious juice but seriously prudish. Outstanding wine, just a little mysterious for now.

Super dark, very ripe but an excellent wine. Some earth and mineral but subtle texture and some layering of flavors but not to the extent of some Santa Rita Hills Pinot or edna Valley Pinots I like. I would definitely buy this wine again and it is definitely better than their regular Santa Lucia Highlands or Santa Rita Hills bottling s.

this is a sexy wine! Nose: strawberries, cherries, raspberries, lots of bright red fruits, some cola Mouth: tight tannins, red fruits, raspberries, cherries, great spice on the finish which goes on for a while this will get better with time but right now it's killer.

My bottle of the Arbre Vert was corked, so TLV opened this. Deep color. Aromas of baked cherry, raspberry and cola with a nice underlying earthiness/funk. Dark fruit and cherry flavors on the palate. Lots of fruit, nicely balanced; lengthy finish.

This is not a typical Rosella's in my opinion. I get more earthy flavors like loam and mushroom than the usual cherry and cola. This did not open up in the 1 hour or so over dinner, and I did not revisit after that. I'll be interested to see the remaining 1/2 bottle tonight, but I think this needs a few years to meld.

Still real young... just had to try it though. Opened up and integrated real nicely about about 1 hour after cracking the cork. Huge red fruit-- strawberries, cherry-- elegant finish. Can't wait to see this one mature.

Totally different impression than a previous tasting. This one was plush and flavorful, although a little too much heat.
