Ours is on the decline already. Was a bit surprised, but it's really flattened out, and the color is a little off. It didn't appear corked, but it drank like a wine past its prime. I have another bottle to try and it will be soon.

- Brick color with medium forming legs. It's somewhat balanced with a medium/full body. Leathery texture with a medium finish - Lots of sediment. Age well.

Really not very good. The fruit feels sharp and over-extracted. A real disappointment and a headache in a bottle. This doesn't even remotely handle its 14.7% alcohol. A punch to the face and not a pleasant one.

Vey smooth and balanced. But overall not very exciting. Just kind of boring. Tight on the nose and muted flavors. Not getting much pepper or fruit like other Zins. It's hard to knock this because it's obviously well made, but there is just nothing special, or even notable, here.

The guy pouring this in the tasting room told a real knee slapper when he mentioned that this is such a light Zinfandel that some people mistake it for Pinot Noir. They must drink some real crap Pinot Noir around here... The aromas were very exuberant, with rich, intense generic soft red fruits, some funkiness, and a green, steamy notion as well. Thee palate is pretty intensely ripe, showing rich soft fruits, puckering acid, and bitter chocolate. The finish is really spicy, intense, and very alcoholic (says it's "only" 14.7% alcohol). This was really unenjoyable.

Smooth, soft, elegant with nice integration of tannins. At its best right now, I'd say. Drink up.;

Enjoyed the wine. Thought that it had complexity and plenty of fruit

Thin for the price. Decent wine, but not for the price. See my prior review for more details.

Very nice wine. Great mix of ripe and unripe berries mixed with vanilla and a bit of earth. We'll balanced.

Not blown away by any means - No notes - but opened the 2008 and 2009 in sequence. The 2008 was better.

Popped and poured. Was better the 2nd day. Spice came out nice. Probably would not purchase more.

Liked. Didn't love. High alcohol just left it a little too sharp. Nice floral bouquet. Decanted took some of the edge off. Double yum

Good bouquet and taste, though not as fruity as we like our zins; too much alcohol in the finish
