This was a good bottle of Syrah. As noted in other reviews, not showy or flashy, just a good solid wine. Sampled over 3 hours day one, and again on day 2, not a great deal of change. I see this as ready to go, no rush but target my remaining for the short term.

Decanted for an hour plus, but it hasn’t changed from the small sip I poured upon opening. Typical violet/purple Syrah hue. Crushed berries, violets, blueberry jam and espresso on the nice. Great balance of acid, fruit and tannin. 15.2% alcohol isn’t evident. Dark fruits are the dominant flavor with hints of spice and something akin to orange peel. Not showy but very solid. For my palate it’s at peak and should stay there for a couple of years.

PnP and drinking just fine right out of the gate. Didn't show much evolution over the course of a few hours. Seems like it will hold on for a few more years just fine, but probably not much upside in doing so. Showing nice fruit with tertiary notes.

Loaded with dark berry, pepper and spice flavors. Plump and juicy all the way through, finishing with clove, cinnamon spice, leather and tobacco. Excellent. Has plenty of life left to enjoy for a few more years.

Unbelievable bottle of wine; had a wonderful nose of leather, tobacco, earthiness & tasted very much like that on one's palate; succulent and full bodied; we had friends over after dinner who, along with us gave it a 93 or 94! Wish we had had more of it in our cellar

Nice sweet, earthy, perfumed nose, but a bit thin and acidic on the palate. I wish it had gone more toward the new-world syrah focusing on deep, plush, blue fruit; it lacked the earthy, fatty, or herbal flavors I like from the Rhone too. Overall, just OK.

First couple bottles I had of this I was underwhelmed as it was hot and disjointed. Not now. Lush, balanced, long peppery finish. The oddly distinguishing characteristic, one i have never run across in syrah before, is a strong butterscotch on the nose. Odd but beautiful. Not vanilla. Butterscotch. Nice wine.

Decanted approximately 30 minutes prior to drinking. Nose opens with aromas of chocolate, seared meat, blueberry and blackberry jam, and a touch of heat. Very impressive. On the palate it's rich yet precisely balanced, showing plenty of concentrated ripe black fruit but also finely integrated acidity and a touch of firm tannin. I was quite impressed. The finish is medium in length and tapers off gently. A great steak wine.

PnP - 750ml; Tight nose showing slight bits of black fruit and alcohol. Black and blue fruits on the tongue with leather, meat, and stone. Good acidity and low tannins. Day 2 - still tight nose but flavors a bit stronger. Needs a bit more time.

Served at our son's engagement dinner. Opened bottle several hours before pouring. Honestly can't remember specifics. It was enjoyable, nicely balanced. I think we'll drink the next bottle at home without the hub bub of celebration so we can enjoy the WINE!

Wow! Really tasty juice. Black fruits, blue fruits, vanilla, spice, licorice, earth. Young, needs time to fully integrate, but singing pretty good now. If scoring 92-94.

Decanted for 10 hours. Blueberry and blackberry fruits followed by earthy mineral notes on the middle palate with a long finish that has a slight vanilla and lavendar note. Rasa continues to impress me with all their wines.

A very powerful wine but in my opinion need a lot of time. Decanted for 3 hours but still tight. I think this wine will develop over time. Will save rest of bottles for a few years.

Drank upon arrival 4/19. Upon opening this was a HUGE wine. Decanted 5 hours and was still really tight. Poured back in the bottle, corked and refrigerated overnight. Brought back up to cellar temp on day two. Still just so so young, but awesome aromas and flavors of blueberry and spice with a long finish. Has a while to go, I would sit on 'em if you got 'em. 92+

Lots of black fruits and chocolate, with a bit of vanilla on the back end. Big Syrah, which benefited from some air time.
