This is singing for a $21 Bourgogne at age 10. Dark red on opening. Intense red cherry pinot nose. Lean on the palate but great very nice stoney acidity. Chezeaux is making great wine that seems wildly undervalued relative to his neighbors.

For the Burgundian expression of Pinot Noir, this is a very good wine at a good price. The nose is earthy and spicy with cherry fruits and a touch of smokiness. The profile is very well balanced with a core of tangy acidity supporting spicy, sour and bing cherry fruits. The soft tannins provide some length and support.

Good lean Bourgogne with decent sappiness and pinot damson. Hard at first, softens a bit with 20-30 minutes airing, then quite good and food-oriented. Not obvious that it is one for the cellar; perfectly good right now, at its level. This is a new producer for me, and, based on this tasting, I would buy his other wines when pricing is reasonable.

Fairly solid. A bit dry and blunt. Not very supple. Might have been better when younger and fruitier.

Bourgogne in miniature, but complete and even a bit of backbone still. Short to medium finish. Will improve for a couple of years still. Might hit 90.

Very accessible wine with clean pure fruit (crushed berries) and feminine characteristics (rose petal).

About what you could hope for at this price point. Good fruit, not a lot else. Still, a decent easy drinker.
