A beguiling nose of violets, raspberry and fresh cherries. It was like vinous silk in the mouth and had fruit intensity without the slightest bit of heaviness. There was a hint of earth to the fine and long finish.

Wonderful fresh silky fruit, floral notes, stellar with multiple dishes (truffles to black cod and a savory mushroom sauce). Mocha, bing cherry, balance. Yum

Decanted one hour, drunk over next three. Ruby red. Tart cherry, flowers, lavender on the nose. Enters with a hit of bright acid, red fruits and herbs on the palate with soft tannins. Good with food, interesting on its own. Needs at least five years for everything to integrate I would guess. Interesting with excellent potential.

Faiveley Wine Dinner at Donna’s (Donna’s Baltimore): Excellent precision and purity. Red fruits, raspberry, red currants, a slight hint of fresh mint, spicy, sap and earth. Medium concentration, sap, nicely integrated acid and tannins. Lovely.

Popped'n poured - one of the Thanksgiving reds. Really lovely wine - red fruits and very floral on the nose. In a nice place.

Nose shows with hints of flowers and red fruits. Flavors of unripened strawberry with a soft but flavorful palate and nice finish.

Popped'n poured - 1st bottle of 8, and already in a very good, albeit primary, drinking window.

Grands Jours de Bourgogne - Meursault and Volnay (Tonnellerie Damy - Meursault): Tasting. Good red cherry on nose and palate, but fairly short and simpler for now than other 2010 Volnay 1ers tasted.
