Fantastic. Popped and poured, but would recommend splash decant because of sediment. In an fantastic place now, but would doubt this will improve with further cellaring at this point. Drink now.

These wine need, in my opinion, at least 5 years, and preferably 8, to come together, and really start showing their stuff. This wine is just coming into its own, and it presently Merry Edwards at its best: full bodied pinot fruit, structure and length - a superb wine.

2014 New York Wine Experience Trip; 10/14/2014-10/21/2014 (New York City, NY): As is the case with most bottlings from Merry Edwards, the 2010 Georganne is a fleshy, deep ruby Pinot. The nose and palate are laden with black cherries, blackberries, dried herbs, pickling spice and cola. Supported by fresh acidity and firm tannins, it stays solid in the middle and shows no alcoholic heat (14.4%). The wine's long finish shows some tannic grip. Give this one a bit of time in the cellar. Drink 2016-2022.

very good, even better on day two....ruby red, bright red cherry, maybe a bit of strawberry gives way to some darker cola and spices. bigger style of Russian River Pinot with great concentration, but still very enjoyable.

Pop&pour Nose - hard to read. A little sour berry? Mouth - full bodied bursting with red and dark fruit, this is a rich, ripe, and big styled pinot with prominent tannins reminding me of a young burgundy. Big potential here; this was dinner wine after tasting Anderson valley pintos all day and ironically it's my wine of the day.

medium bodied with bright acidity and rich flavors of blackberry and cherry. Nice smooth finish too.

Another great offering from Merry Edwards. Has a wonderful depth of flavor that I associate with the RRV. Definitely not a delicate Pinot.
