What a surprise! I assumed this bottle was too old but it drank magnificently. The fruit is still there, the acidity lives and an incredible secondary layer of honeyed notes has emerged. If you have any of this left, drink up!

This has really improved with age, and was especially enjoyable on night four. Balanced, with decent acid, and pronounced floral notes. More than a touch of earth added character.

slightly sweet, but a perfect match with miso soup with noodles. I was looking for something that would balance the saltiness of the dish and the umami of the soup. The heavy mushroom flavors and the saltiness led me to this bottle and it worked well

needs to get air for an hour or so and needs to be at about 55-60 degrees to achieve its potential. good acidity, apple and pear fruit and a bit of oak notes on the back end. Good match with crab cakes. better with food.

Still has some life in it. Strong notes of melon. Hint of salinity and earth. Very nice for the price.

They say honey with spice notes, with green apple & beeswax. Started with a bit of as sharp astringency, but it smoothed out quickly. I enjoyed it.

Sound, full, nutty, but ultimately too neutral

Ripe melon fruit, softish, lacks definition and zest, quite an ordinary wine actually.

Zingy citrusy, with a rounded mid-palate of melon. Seems to,
have put on some weight.

Nice waxy texture. Pleasant, rounded melon flavours. Not much to complain about for £9 but QPR not quite as good as in other Trimbach bottlings.

Pale coloured with a ripe pear and green apple nose. Weighty and aromatic with pithy, spicy citrus and green apple notes and good length.
