This was much better than my last bottle and although clearly fully mature, was on a very pleasant plateau rather than a downhill slope. This was maybe more animal than one would expect of Vosne, but still exhibits some richness of fruit, without the added interest from tertiary development being anything as coarse as barnyard. Fully ready now, I'll drink my remaining bottle within the year.

A good effort for a village wine, but it is beginning to fade, with a touch of astringency creeping in on the palate. Things smoothed out once it came up to temperature and had had some air, but it didn't really sing in that silky way that a Vosne should.

Gorgeous deep red fruits with a terrific linearity throughout. Would never have guessed a villages, but a testament to the producer and the vintage and grapes that have to punch above their designation.

Upon opening the nose had cool fruits, mineral and a bit of animale. Structure still very much in tact and balanced. Still drinking well given its village. Very good with lamb chops.

Nose fairly closed (again, the fact it was opened a day earlier, a factor?), raspberry with some stalkiness. Better on palate, silky, with well integrated, fine grained tannins. A bit less than medium weight on palate, with nice acid balance, some savouriness and good length. 90

Mixed red and black fruit plus spice aromatics that carry through to the palate. Medium weight, lush feel that makes you think there must be some oak, but really no wood flavors. Fairly round, sound but not blistering acidity, long finish. Truly excellent village Vosne.

Väldigt mjukt och låga tanniner. Syran sticker ut och vinet känns lite obalanserat. Annas gott med drag av mörkare bär.
