Dark golden; almost a hint of brown. Nose is sweet caramel, orange blossom, and candied lime. Smooth on entry and builds mid-palate, and finishes with lingering tartness. Rich and viscous with Zestar apple flavor. Liquid gold.

Tight bubbles that last. Yeasty on the nose with a little bit of apple/pear. Green apple throughout. Nice acidity but with some tartness running through too. Paired very well with the South Dakota state grand champion bacon.

Drank to celebrate moving into new home. This had sentimental value, as we purchased it at the winery on our honeymoon, so we chose to consume it for a special occasion. Slightly nutty, with tart apple. Good length on the finish. Quite good, although a step down from the Reserve.

Consider the source. My experience with champagne to this point is 10.99/ bottle poured into a jug of orange juice. From the minute I poured the nose was incredible. Riesling like. I got oranges followed by sugar, caramel coated baked apples. Incredible. As it sat in glass you would get briefly a baking pie dough. This could become a habit. Had a plate of bacon and scallops with this wine. Perfect.

Golden in color. Nose of caramel, lemon meringue, honey, almond paste, and orange blossom. Tart green apple on entry but smooth finish.

Chilled on ice before serving. A fair amount of yeast somewhat dominates. Great fruit. Bubbles last to the end.

Seems mature, macerated apples, pears, touch of honey, really smooth mouthfeel with generous fruit and decent acidity

Yeast and toasty. Crisp and light, not too fruity.

Another excellent sparkly from Schramsberg. Toasty, yeasty aromas. Not in the tight austere style- ripe and voluptuous, lots of complex fruit flavors.
