Étonnante tenue dans le temps! Superbe équilibre, belle allonge, fraîcheur, fruité, amandes vertes, à peine une touche d’oxydation mais presque rien. Bravo!

Dark salmon, almost orange color. Tangy acidity, but softer than expected. Typical Bandol, which we love. There was a 2013 of the same wine at the tasting, and it was brighter, fresher and drinking better than this one.

Much more subdued than a bottle from a year ago. It appears to be on its way downhill. Ok for sipping, but not as refreshing as I would have liked. Not crisp and bright. Bordering on dull and subdued.

magnificent copper (exaggerated by ambient early evening light); melon, earth & washed berries; med+ weight; watermelon & fruity-sweet strawberries on entry, becomes slightly angular, herbal & red-soiled, w/med acidity & length; fruit-driven, but well-balanced w/nuanced undertones
savory rustic tart w/caramelized onion, tomato marmalade & button chanterelles, rosemary, serrano ham
3/30/14 deep copper-colored w/bronzing edges; citrus zest, mulled fruits & wild herb nose; med/+ bodied; pink grapefruit, watermelon, muddled strawberry, a little flabby today, w/decent mineral & moderate acidity; showing less well-defined than last, drink up. (88)
First sniff brought on memories of a strawberry Jolly Rancher stick. On the palate the first thought was melon. Nice freshness on the nose. Thankfully the palate isn't the jolly rancher.... Very smooth on the palate with a nice finish. A pleasant wine as I pretend there is not snow on the ground.

Lots of mineralality, with overtones of fresh fruit in the midpalate. This wine has almost no front or back - its 95% in the middle. Great with foods from the Mediterranean. Light, flavorful, almost classy. And all for a rose.
Go figure.

We had our 3rd and last bottle after dinner on 9/8/12. It had a clean, fresh bouquet of watermelon, mineral and peach aromas. The palate was fresh, dry and focused with flavors of watermelon, mineral, peach and a faint hint of raspberry.

I had this after a hot afternoon of working in the yard on 8/5/12. It was served at 47 degrees and was extremely refreshing. The notes were identical to those I wrote yesterday, but it did seem to have a little more oomph!

I had this after work on 8/4/12. It had a subtle, gentle and fresh bouquet with watermelon, peach and mineral aromas. The palate was soft, subtle, fresh and dry with flavors that followed the nose.

Gentle aroma of strawberries. Palate is gentle but rich. Slight apricot, honeysuckle, and lots of flowers. Bright acidity. Great food wine. Paired wonderful with a simple pasta a olio and sardines.

Grapefruit! but not too much. Floral notes and some herbiness. Light fruit, a bit of citrus, and fresh soil.

Very nice lunchtime tipple that had a very refreshing taste more typical of a Anjou rose

Melon, strawberry, mineral. Rather full and intense for dry rose, with ample acidity and a lingering finish. Excellent.
