A Sauvignon Blanc that has aged well and is drinking towards the end of its life right now - good, but different. Light yellow, almost clear in color; medium in body; nose of gooseberry, brioche, and ocean air. Tastes of lemon, honey, and grapefruit, with an oily finish that reminds me of a white Bordeaux (even though it is 100% SB). 14.1% alcohol. I enjoyed this more than the 2009 at the six-year mark, but I would drink now - the fruit is muted, though it still a graceful package.

Let this go too long, I would drink up. Nose is a bit muted, fruit has faded just a touch allowing a bit more alcohol to come through. Still pretty good but lesson learned... drink these in the first couple years.

There was a slightly green off putting component to the aromas which receded a bit with air time but never really went away, so I was suspect of some kind of contamination. The texture and flavors were beautiful and with an appropriate amount of acidity this stayed fresh and tasty. Aromas 75 Taste 90.

I was very curious on this effort. To tell the truth, when popping the cork the wine gave a very subdued and non-interesting impression. No fruit, no nothing. With a few friends, of whom two are wine professionals, we all agreed it might have seen its best days already. However, we chose to pour it in a decanter to see what might happen.
This effort did the trick and after an hour or more with air, our Lillie started to blossom. Lovely tones of rich citrus, nectarine, white flowers and subtle tones of mint chocolate emerged. The impression was very positive and that of a rich close to voluptuous effort. Still, the wine is balanced but definitely a full throttle Sauvignon Blanc. The palate is velvety and has the type of viscosity normally found in Grand Cru Chablis... I am not sure further aging will do it any good, but if you drink today be sure to aerate for at least an hour - and do not serve it too cold!
A very nice acquaintance. Well worth tasting if given the chance.

Grapefruit and peaches with a hefty minerality. Perfectly balanced, this is a somewhat expensive American Sauvignon Blanc, but among the best I have ever had. I continue to be amazed by this winery and the beauty all their wine possesses across the range.

Expensive for sure, but still the best sauv blanc we've had. Incredible nose, always blown away at how fragrant the wine is. Lots of peach, citrus, some nice minerality to it. And of course reminds us of our own Lily... Our beloved old English sheepdog who left us this year. Great memories brought on by a great wine.

Very good, but not as good as the last bottle for whatever reason. Love that peach on the nose though... Could keep my nose in the glass all night long...

Very nice. Loads of bright citrus (lime, lemon, tangerine) zest on the nose. Also very citrusy on the palate, with bracing acidity, a surprising amount of chalky minerality, and a nice long finish. Based on how the previous vintage aged, I think this will be even better next summer than it is now.

Wonderful stuff. Lots of citrus (lemon and grapefruit), tart peaches and mineral stone. Luscious in the mouth with a long, satisfying finish. An expensive SB, but hard to criticize. If scoring 92-94.

Wow! Our new favorite Sauvignon Blanc. Layers of fruit on the nose... apricot, grapefruit, peaches. Nice minerality, smooth finish, not harsh or tart at all. Was hesitant at this price point, but happy to have purchased now (still probably not a very good value if being honest). Paired perfectly with C's risotto... amazing!

Aromas leapt from the glass, showing sweet peaches in cream, a bit of honey with floral and grassy notes and hints lime on wet stone. On the palate, it was rich yet focused and beautifully balanced with young peach and cheek puckering citrus that stay through the long finish with lingering notes of melon and young mango.
This wine was absolutely gorgeous and will be interesting to follow over the next few years.

Walleyes, Sweet Corn, and White Wines: Really wonderful SB with lots of nice citrus and minerality and a really rounded creamy mouthfeel. Terrific.

Bright citrus but also solid minerality, and a long, lingering finish. Easily one of the best Sauv Blancs I have ever had.

Consistent with prior notes. Solid wine, but not a solid QPR.
