This wine is big and sweet. It's very good but I think its no longer in my style of preference. That said, it was enjoyable and had a very sweet leaning flavor profile dominated by caramel and marzipan. There was also some concentrated lemon and a touch of ripe apple. More acidity would have made this a home run.

Golden color with marzipan, honey, creme brûlée, vanilla, and faint hints of apple. The palate is big, mouthcoating, and ripe. This is a monster chard that seems to be lacking in acidity. Too much oak that covers the fruit and too oily on the palate. Not a fan.

Wine Reviews: Chardonnay: SRP: $48. On the nose, melon, white flower, and riverbed, backed by elegant toasted oak and restrained butter. On the palate, more citrus notes come through. A well-structured, well-balanced wine with a great acid profile.

Melons and floral notes with a little hint of nuts and cheese. Very interesting bouquet for me. Palate is very well structured, but not as well defined as I'd like at this point. Slight butter, little bit of minerals maybe, and a long oak finish. Would love to see this wine evolve and bring out some more of it's intricate flavors out. Overall great Chard.

Same as on 09/06/14. Complex and full but lacking in acidity.

Nice and classic oak, caramel, Cali chard. Enjoyed but not my style.
