Translucent red. Brooding nose of cherries and strawberries. Bright raspberry and strawberry on the palate. Soft tannins, great balance. Long, spicy finish with notes of strawberry. Drink next 3 years.

Classic dusty, sandalwood Brick House aroma, light-bodied mid-palate with elegant Pinot flavors, savory finish with a bit of cranberry tartness. Perfectly reflects its cool vintage, terroir, and winemaking philosophy. Just a tad fruitier than the 2010 Volnay we had alongside. I doubt it will improve, but this is drinking well now. Perfect tonight with roasted chicken and celeriac.

Light cherry red in color. A spicy berry nose. Bright red fruits on the palate, cherries, strawberries, some earthy notes. Lovely acidity, light but clearly defined tannins, excellent balance. Finishes gently with red fruits and nice length. Much better than on release. Should drink this well for 3 to 5 years more.

Mid ruby with a touch of garnet. Fragrant, sous bois and a touch of caramel. Quite floaty, verging on the ethereal. Finely chiselled, good focus, mid weigh mature red fruit and a bright finish. Reminds me of Ilan MSD Mt L from the same vintage. Lovely. Hope subsequent vintages age this way. ****

Great dinner hosted by Doug and Debbie. This was slightly chilled, PnP, drank over an 30 minutes.
Pale purple color. Nose giving very little, slight berry/earth. Palate was thin with some plums, blackberry and earth notes. Light texture, thin bodied and short finish.
I am a fan of Brick House, Oregon wines and the leaner Burgundian style. Unfortunately, not much here in fruit expression or secondary notes expected from this wine. This one either didnt have time to open up or, more likely, peaked a few years ago. Not much left...IMO
Decanted 1 hour and consumed over 4 hours. Head to head against 2010 Adelsheim Elizabeth Reserve. Similar light style w/ equal parts raspberries and dusty earth on the nose. The BH (90 prs) is a little more reserved on the nose compared to the Adelsheim (91 pts) at this stage. Hold the BH until at least late 2017 to see if intensifies.

Pale mauve in color. The nose is light, with notes of spice, raspberry, and dirt. The mouth has cherry fruit, with minerals and umami. This is a dry and savory wine. Delicate and expressive.

Agree with Ron Felton ' notes. This was very disappointing, given its price point. Better on Day 2 and more complex and fuller bodied, but still not what I was excepting.

I was actually a little bit disappointed with this wine. I like OR pinot on the lighter side but this one was quite a bit more tart and lean and I was expecting from the other tasting notes. Perhaps next time I will pair it with a meal.

Decanted 1.5 hours prior to dinner of roasted salmon, almond rice, and a veggies salad. Cloudy, light, violet color. Nose brings tart rhubarb, candied strawberries, a little earth, and scattered notes of nutmeg and cinnamon. Palate follows with bright, tart fruit, including green cherries, ripe raspberries, and touches of baked strawberry pie. Finish is creamy yet firm with the acidity and tannins in pretty good harmony. Overall, deep texture and complexity set against a Gamay-like tart/bitter sweet/sour profile. This is a great food Pinot and best from 2015-2020. Well done.

This is in a really mellow state right now. It got better after sitting for a few hours, but, it seemed really restrained compared to my previous tasting.

Out of the bottle, the color is mulled cranberry. Tons of spice on the nose, but also a complex mix of raspberry and earth. The mouth is fantastic. Fairly full, despite any perceptible tannins. There is definitely some dirt, dark cherry, and spice in the mouth. Nice balance of sweet and savory.

Notes from day 2. Dark red in the color. Nose of nice florals, red raspberry, strawberry, earth loam, asian spice. Palate of tart red fruit, cranberry, pomegranite, raspberry, herbs, light forest loam, asian spice. The finish is long in length and really good acidity and structure to this wine. The wine was fantastic and gained some body with the extended air. This will only improve in the bottle IMO as yesterday it was more angular and tight. Wish I had went for a case on this one. Hold: 50+5+13+18+8 4

We are off to LA tomorrow and I decided to pull out something from the Fall delivery deluge. And I made a seriously good choice.
It's hard to believe that such a young wine can be this complete. Remarkable beautiful nose of rich, rich fruit -- red and black fruit -- and a bounty of spice, sandalwood. Maybe a little vanilla, burnt sugar?? This is nose candy. The empty glass smells great. Pretty big wine, not shy. Lovely ripe dark cherry fruit with a bright tart finish. with more Asian spice.
Wow, Wow. Despite being bottled only 6-8 weeks ago, this wine is fantastic. A little darker in fruit profile than the cuvee, this wine had very similar high concentrations of higher toned red fruit acids but with more spice notes and aromas. Will gain several points from my humble perspective in the future.

Oregon Pinot Noirs; 2010 vintage (Mt Tabor Fine Wine & E & R Wine shop): Easily WOTN. Although light bodied in color, this has some crazy complexity and super concentration on both the nose and in the glass. Similar style as the ’10 BH Tonnelier; earthy/dusty forward w/raspberry/baking spice, but even more intense in every way. Without a doubt, this is quintessential Willamette Valley Gran Cru, and some of the best representation of the traditional Burgundy style that I have ever seen from the area. A classic if there ever was one. 95 pts may be a little low, but I’ve got to leave some scoring room for when this improves over then next 5- 10 years. 95+ pts
