The color in the glass was tinged with a slight brown hue, beautiful classic pinot noir nose immediately, red fruit, orange rind, tea and baking spices on the gentle soft finish. Still showing well.

On pop and pour the nose was very mellow with little to suggest what would follow. Dark and thick in the glass. Muted dark cherry on the palate with barnyard. With air the barnyard element really came forward on both the nose and the palate pushing the fruit to the back. If this wine was won’t fruit-forward, it ain’t no more! Smooth finish with mild acidity and tannins. I don’t know what this was like a few years ago, but it may be past its prime at this point.

Hello California! Much fuller and rougher than the Willamette Pinot we just had but I'm still really liking this. There's a great flavor contrast of orange peel and brown sugar. Of course that's not the only thing going on. Tea notes and ripe raspberry are front and center. 900ml of Pinot flavor in a 750ml package!

Just as my previous rating, only better with the Hungarian Goulash we drank it with. Nose of Framboise, loam and cherry. Lingering candied cherries and blackberry, turning to tobacco on the finish. Wonderful Pinot

Had previously not liked it. Now it's drinking very well after four years in the bottle. Very good nose that should continue to develop. I may rethink about grabbing a few Walt's for the future.

Really enjoyed this bottle. This is a side project of Kathryn Hall, in the Anderson Valley / and Sonoma Coast. Really tasty stuff. Good ripe fruit, but not jammy. Excellent Acidity, that makes it a great food wine, Some light mint action, and a lttle herbal kick, but the Fruit is all Califonrnia. Really nice bottling.

Rich fruit on the nose, fruit front with a little smoke on the back. This pleasantly mellowed the longer it was open. Paired with a flavorful Mexican Carnitas dish turned out nicely

Excellent. Drinking perfectly. Smooth and integrated Pinot. Not too fruity with a slightly Smokey undertone. Brought to Czarks for dinner

Easy drinking. Decanted for 20 mins, after about 40 minutes and it really opened up. Enjoyed and can't wait to have it again!

More wood than your typical pinot, but still great value.

Good bottle of pinot. Definitely prefer this one over the Blue Jay vineyard from Walt.

Nose full of alcohol. Tasted very young, and should improve with aging. Last few pours out of the bottle showed promise with a lengthy finish.
