Stunning! Still filled with jammy fruit, raspberry primarily, but some of the secondary flavors are starting to come out. Very well integrated, pure pleasure to drink with good food. Reminds me of my first taste of Chateau Latour.

I thought this one was delicious. It took a while to open up but the blend brought all of the grapes out well. Complex on the pallet and a nice finish.

Cool on the nose & the palate. That harmonizes very well to the medium weight frame, w/ nothing out of place. I wish that more CA wines could show this kind of restraint & let the nuances come through. On the palate, there are some brambly undertones+sour blackberry. This feels more like a Loire Valley Cab Franc than a Napa red.
This is my first Arietta. I would personally consider the value of this to be ~$50.

Opened two hours before the main course, and it was stunning. Opaque ruby in the glass with legs. Black raspberry and plum on the nose. More black fruit along with spice and cedar and tobacco on the palate. Long slow finish. Luscious.

Opened and slow ox'd for 3 hours and then slowly consumed over the next 3. Dark red fruit on the nose. The palate was black raspberry, black plums, currants, tobacco and hints of mocha. The finish was moderate to long. Served with a platter of pan roasted pork and oven roasted lamb.

Popped & poured. My first impression was leather and dust, fruit on the nose was muted at first, later came in stronger with black raspberry and plum. Not a fruit bomb at all, more like a St. Emilion in a good year. Opens out with lots of charm eventually. The best gulp was what was left in my glass, tasted with a mouthful of barnyardish sheep's milk cheese. The rest of the bottle was vacuvined, and was a 94 wine the next day (with leftover meatloaf). The primary fruit and secondary leather, oak, and earth had all come together. It's highly extracted, juicy, with abv 14.8% covered, and a long finish. If you've got a bunch of these, as I have, they need a bit of air to show all their stuff. Decant or vinturi if you have one, and watch out for the sediment at the bottom. Bought from Acker Merrall auction at $280 for a dozen.
Tasted immediately upon opening and thought yeah, a few hours of air should work well. After first glass, poured another with two passes through the Vinturi (stored on nitrogen) and it seemed brighter and tastier than the glass with "traditional" aeration. For my final glass I'll put it through the Vinturi twice and be done with it! Either way this was excellent. It was bright, fruity and complex with a nice depth of flavor. Interesting tasting blend of these four grapes. The blending results in a taste profile unlike any of the four would be on their own. Worth it for that reason alone.

Rich and velvety - nose is strong and was tight at first but 45 minutes later, really opened up - medium long finish post-decant And went beyond the initial pepper and fruit to much more well rounded, layered - very nice!

A lively nose of black raspberry, red currant, mint and musty leather leads way to a juicy, full bodied palate with a similar lush soft (probably due to the 29% merlot in the blend) right bank inspired flavor profile.

I know a lot of people say they don't like big over extracted California cabs, but I don't know how anyone wouldn't like this. Big, rich, layered, and just plain delicious. Gave it around 1.5 hours in the decanter and it was a hit with all in attendance. We got the last bottle off the wine list at Grace in Fort Worth. I'll be looking for more of this one.

Way too young still. Needs at least 2 or 3 more years (5-6 seems more ideal). Very tight at first, after long (8 hour) decant softened considerably. Has nice fruit and, once tannins soften, should have nice character. Score is on potential, but drinks like an 87-88 point right now.

Pnp. Approachable from the start, but this really hit its stride after about 2 hours of air. Right after opening it had a nice nose but the palate mostly offered restrained dark fruit and pepper. It evolved into a full-bodied, well layered wine, with luscious dark fruit, chocolate, and coffee notes, followed by a medium/long finish. Will wait another year or decant 1 hour on remaining bottles.

Lovely wine. Had with a small supper of white cheeses, pita and hummus. Great pairing. Lots of fruit on the nose and the palette. Medium finish. We let this breathe for about an hour. Didn't evolve much over the 90 minutes that we drank it. Lots of sediment in the last glass.

50/29/19/2 Cab/Merlot/Franc/Petit Verdot. Lush nose of New World blend. Powerful juice, fruit jumps out and lasts with just enough structure for the balance. Loooots of layers of flavor, too many to try to list, red fruit, black fruit, cassis, dried dark cherry, blackberry, dried mint, sweet earth.

Dark purple. Cassis, blackberry, and tobacco compose the bouquet. Light-med body with tobacco, slate/graphite, and blackberry on the palate. Dry, tannic, earthy finish reminiscent of dirt.

Gabe said "It's not my jam." Well, there was a bit of a raspberry jam note on the palate. I've raised a snob.

Popped and poured, layered and intensely delicious from the start, the fruit and the secondary elements (tobacco and leather) are all in harmony.
