Must have forgotten to log this and since it had some age decided tonight was the night. This was smooth and complex and I like MikeDildines notes on the wine but I had it scored just a a tad lower. Same general impression of the wine. I need to buy more from this producer. I always forget about them but they make such great wines.

Agree w other recent notes, but not going quite as high (yet) on the score as I’d like to get just a bit more secondary flavors / evolution. It did pair very well with the (rich) French meal we had it with

14.5% abv. Bright burgundy red, very aromatic. On the palate, ripe cherries, orange zest, blue fruit, mint and Christmas spice. Deep, rich and long while at the same time precise, focused and light on its feet. Just superb balance and poise. A beautiful wine at the top of its game, should continue to age well for years to come.

-- decanted immediately before initial taste -- -- tasted non-blind over a couple hours --
NOSE: expressive; rich, ripe red fruits; typical Rochioli.
BODY: dark ruby color; age not noticeable on the color; medium-full bodied.
TASTE: big and oaky; alc. is noticeable; ripe & red-fruited; not quite as well-balanced as some other Rochioli Pinots I've had over the past year or two. Still youthful, with plenty of stuffing, so perhaps this will improve with more age. Next bottle in 2025.

As much as you can expect from a California Pinot. Tremendous wine, drinking perfectly. Decanted for an hour. High orange peel quotient. Enjoyed at The Progress.

My last of 3 bottles purchased directly from the winery. Popped 'n poured with my wine group, and it was a hit with everyone. Medium acidity, and notes of dried citrus and black cherry on the palate. Medium plus length finish.

Nice fruit in the flavor with black cherries and raspberries with some earthiness, spice, and hints of floral. Nice complexity and a long finish. The 2010 Little Hill is drinking well right now and I plan on opening my remaining bottle in the next year

Drinking great, it is in such a beautiful place right now. Right in that sweet spot where there is still great fruit, great color and it is all nicely integrated.

My group's wine of the night. So much going on here. Notes of sweet red fruits, spices, maybe some citrus notes. Most of my group ordered lobster, and they drank this before the food arrived.

Tasted all 5 vineyards from 2010 over 5 days. All were delicious. This one was in a 3 way tie for second for me. Smooth, fruity, drinking well right now.

14.5% abv. Medium burgundy red, extremely expressive aromas. Cherry, raspberry and sage highlight a predominately red-fruit flavor profile. Excellent depth, concentration and intensity, lingering aftertaste. Great now, and considering Rochioli's track record, should continue to age beautifully.

Decanted for about 4 or 5 hours. In comparison to the 2010 Sweetwater, this is probably just a touch better with a little bit more depth to the fruit and a little more complexity. They are both fabulous wines and will certainly be stellar bottles once they get some age on them. Stay away if you can but if you can spare a bottle, they are pretty nice little treats even at this point.

My 3rd and last bottle, and unfortunately least enjoyable. Past peak, fruit flavors have devolved and the wine just seemed tired.

I enjoyed this but not a wow and in a blind tasting I don’t think this would really stand out. I think this is ready to drink now.

Drinking beautifully. Harmonious. Fruit has not fallen off to any noticeable degree. Appears can continue to age for some time.
