Decanting worked wonders. Shy, dusty nose turned to vibrant fruit. Beautifully clear in the glass. Bright cranberry, slightly tart, noticeable acid on palate. Group was really entertained and pleased by this bottle. Consensus that this is slightly past peak but I'm not going to rush the remaining bottles.

Lovely old bottle, almost certainly on the other side of its plateau, but lovely nonetheless. Gamy cherry and raspberry notes, cured beef, spice, light and delicate.

Red cherry fruit and earth notes with an allspice-like component. High pitched palate with a bright acidity and crisp, focused, though rather light flavors. Nice wine.

Tart, tangy red cherry and Carribean spice profile. Easy to drink, clean and straightforward palate, though not without class or character. High acid, and relatively muted fruit. Would benefit from a couple of years at least.

an excellent beaujolais - bright red and clear in the glass, cherries, something gamey and funky, and some spice. well balanced with good acidity. a pleasure with a spicey lamb curry.

translucent rouge with watery rims. faint berry and strong herbla/vegetal on the nose, but that blew off after 15 minutes. drank without food, very light body, fresh tasting with decent acidity, pleasing raspberry with an herbal finish. straightforward but well made. next time i would chill it a little bit.

Still in good shape, "savory" was the word for this wine. Nicely balanced tannins and acid, however lacking the richness of stronger vintages.

Still on the old side, but a bit more fruit than last bottle. We know this is great in better vintages.

Showing high acidity, nice minerality and with some air the fruit starts peaking through. A nice aged bojo.
