A really lovely balanced and vibrant PN on a sevelte frame. Nice red fruit, spice and earthiness. Great find! Screw cap convenience. Paid $11 and easily competes with $20 plus PNs.

As typical for gorge fruit this wine is light in color but medium in body. There is an alluring brightness to this wine with black cherry and cola flavors. The finish builds and is lively.

Giant Wine Sale & Tasting Cellar on Greene, Columbia, SC 4/6/2013: This is easily acceptable as a $12 Pinot. There is lots to enjoy, and little to disrespect. Starts out with with a pretty light color. The nose raises the stakes with some decent red cherry with a hint of toasty oak. There is a solid hit of smooth, if not overpowering red raspberry, strawberry and cranberry fruit. There is a nice touch of spicy sandalwood which I suspect is a terroir thing. Bright balancing acidity. Noticeable but smooth tannins. Complete while maintaining an elegant feminine nature. More cranberry with vanilla on the finish.

30000cs, dark red fruit aromas. just a touch of wood grain/earth note. a touch of smoke on the palate. harder edge on the palate than the fruity nose suggests. great value!!!

Much of it from the Umpqua. Its pretty true and honest Pinot. Not really filled in on its fruit but what can one expect? And when it hits $9.99 it works it out. About 10% new oak, 6 months rested, and then ships out FRESH. The hope is bright fruit, good acidity, maybe touches of funk but not a huge amount.

Light. Tasty enough, a bit sweet; not much in the way of finish. A quaffer and nothing objectionable about it, just not much depth or dimension. A year or two sideways may help it some. For a Pinot Noir priced at $10 or less (a difficult feat), no complaints!

Average, at best. Aromas of musty wet leaves. Slight taste of pepper and cedar with almost no finish. This was served as a low end option at a wine tasting and was the least favorite of the night.

Light color. Sour cherry, but it's bright too. Not very complex, but decent quality for price point.

Typical but decant Oregon Pinot. Underbrush, light fruits and a bit thin. Short finish. Drink now.

Smokey, beefed up with something? For Oregon Pinot big palate in the mid, no finish, but hey, it can make it down the $10 if you buy enough!

2011 vintage. Light body, hints of cherry. Very light, if any, finish.

A darker appeal in the 2011 than the 2010. Still red fruited but a harder and darker appeal, vs the 2010s softer and rounder.
