  • This smells like Chile, Brambly fruit, luscious juicy fruit with that balance of herbal notes
Palate is rich textured fruit, lots of acidity, and fruit, not in perfect balance but pretty darn tasty for the price point

  • Really quite a nice change of pace from the California cabs we've been drinking. This wine has old world mineral and earth with new world spice. Well structured with really complex flavor that changes as the wine passes over different parts of your palate. While this is on the 5cent sale at BevMo, I don't know if I've had a nicer $10 bottle.

  • Smoky aromas of blackberries, cassis, dark cherry, and black plum show ripeness and high concentration. Secondary aromas include fig, vanilla, black licorice, sassparilla and wood.
On the palate fresh and bright acidity is at medium intensity and keeps the palate alive from entry through finish. Tannins are ripe and supple. The flavors are dense and full bodied and include black currant, blackberry, wild raspberry and cherry with flavors of root beer, medium roast coffee, spice, caramel and oak. the finish is moderate and enjoyable with a nice tone of sage...
