Needed a couple hours in a decanter to wake up. Nose had some earthy coffee funk along with cherry. Smooth tannins had some grip left, structure went along with the nose but was a bit disjointed. Maybe it'll be better integrated with some more time in a cellar.

PnP. Crumbling cork. Almost brown color. Very subdued nose. Very thin, no body or mouthfeel. Cherry notes. Muted finish. Not much going on by way of interest. Drinkable, but nothing to get excited about. Have tasted better $12 bottles many times. I'd drink this right away if you have any, doesn't seem to me to have any room for growth.

Quite light both in colour and body, needed about an hour to show what it had...incredibly elegant and well made, though somewhat more restrained on the nose and palate. Ripe, sweet and sour cherries and red currant fruit, grippy tannins and high acid, long finish. Blinded I would have been very confused as somewhat Burgundian in style yet with more acid and fruit. Perhaps needs more time to develop? 1st bottle of my half case so have time to see where this one goes. Was purchased from SAQ's "riches of Italy" private offering back in 2014. Was rated 96 by WA at the time...a bit generous in opinion.

Similar to my impression of their non-vineyard barolo, this was underwhelming. There was not a lot of expression to the wine and I found it overly acidic (perhaps should rest a bit longer?). For the price (around $70), I would not purchase this wine again.

Really good. Bought a bottle in Lake Xomo and wish i shipped a case home. Great nose of red fruits, great balance, silky tannins and an enjoyable finish.

Thin, acidic, vegetal. Waste of Bussia fruit.

It’s so light that I though we were drinking Pinot noir. It got better after one hour but I would pass wherever possible.

Rose, fresh berries on the nose, medium body, super high acidity, grippy tannin, may need a little more time.
