(Tasted Blind): Delicate aromas of mineral, slivered almonds and shards of crushed rocks. There is some evolution on the front of the palate, but otherwise it is a super tight character and typical PYCM. I felt that the wine lacked depth and intensity, feeling wishy-washy and watery - the fruit seems somewhat absent. The acid remains drilling down into the palate! Undecided

Last but 1 bottle, it feels like this has lost a bit of zip, it's still tasty and with good depth for the level and vintage but it's not quite as exciting as it was a year ago.

A zingy, fresh and vibrant bottle without the immediate signs of starting to develop some rounding that the last bottle showed. Almost Chablis-like in its focus. Very decent. *** Amazingly, after a week open in the fridge, unstoppered, there's not the slightest hint of oxidation and the wine shows as freshly as it did on day one.

Lemon, lemon oil and lemon zest; as it warms up turns slightly herbal and grassy, kind of like a Sauvignon blanc; light weight and refreshing, decent for Bourgogne.

Pale. A similar whiff of sulphur as the last bottle, but instead of a nicely crisp, minerally palate, this feels disjointed and very malic acid heavy. After a glass this becomes not worth the bother. Hmm, hope it's just something slightly off with this bottle. Bare **

It pains me to say this, because I love the producer and got a great deal on these, but this isn't entirely satisfying. It almost varies by the sniff and sip, sometimes quite pleasant, others unpleasant with a somewhat tinny/tannic taste. This guy is just too good, so I'm putting the other bottles away for at least a year.

This is a happy place Bourgogne for me.. tasting note on day two and it opened lusciously like a big dewy tropical flower kissed with citrus, even with its youth. Seriously creamy lemon nose, wonderfully acidic and minerally, mouthwatering on the palate. On a warm sandy beach at sunset, a faint scent of plumeria on the breeze, on a blanket with my man. That's what this wine is.

Pop and pour - note after 2 hours. Relatively muted nose. Some melon, minerality and salinity on the palate. I suspect this is a bit too young to judge properly. Right now - not really impressed. The 1ers I have had from this producer have shown much more.

Touch of lemon, apples and butter on the nose of this silvery-gold coloured wine. Some citrus, green and red apple with a little honey, butter and saline on the palate. Decent but not strong acidity. Not much in the way of minerals. Decent finish. Definitely well made and tasty wine but definitely shows the 2011 (it doesn't dance in the mouth the way the 2010 did).

Relatively light in colour this Bourgogne shows notes of lemon zest & smoke alongside a honey component and a buttery note. Salty butter & citrus dominates the palate, good but not very high acidity. The wine is very clean & focused but with a little lack of structure & concentration (like DZOP said before). Give this grape juice some time to evolve in the bottle and some air while enjoying.

Very solid for a Bourgogne, lemon zest, honeydew and nicely balanced acidity. My only criticism would be that there is limited minerality and the density is on the lighter side, but really very good for a basic white burg.

Still young and tight, of course, but shows some mid-term ageing promise...Clean and clear in glass, aromas of slate and light pineapple. Palate opens with seasalt, citrus and Asian pear flavors, framed by bracing acidity and mineral, beautifully balanced. Drinks way over its pricepoint, and needs a year or two more in the bottle to come around. Really opens up with about an hour of air and warmth, when more layers of tropical flavors emerge. A great QPR, and easily could be mistaken for an old-vine Mersault.

Pale. Initially a nicely smoky, slightly reduced nose. Blows off to show crisper, fresher relatively lean fruit and a nice minerality. Crisp, quite linear and focused, nicely persistent. Very decent. ***
