This was the penultimate vintage from the Resonance vineyard by Sineann. The cool 2011 vintage seemed to merge well with this warm site: after about 10 years, there are cherries, raspberries, sandalwood, cinnamon and cloves on the nose and the medium bodied palate. Tannins help lift the wine, and there is a purity to the fruit and great balance that make it memorable. It almost had a liqueur type texture. Very impressive, and just starting to come into the zone. It should last many years - no hurry (A-).

Medium red-purple with some sediment. A little time in glass, deep plum and ripe cherry. Some strong vanilla and whiff of oak. Very pleasant but not complex.

Similar to my last note showing plentiful red fruits, cola and earth/herbs. Fresh/ripe yet integrated structural tannins and acid. Drinking well now but no rush.

Medium-deep dark garnet in color. Forward, attractive and fragrant nose of ripe fruit aromas of cherries, raspberries and red currants with earthy & mineral overtones, sous-bois, loam, floral notes, exotic spices, dried herbs, some cola & red licorice. Medium bodied with a very good concentration of balanced, smooth textured & youthful ripe fruit flavors of red cherries, raspberries & blackberries, minerals, earthy, spices, some cola and a touch of vanilla. Long lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present with extended airing but will develop further from additional aging.

Aromas of cherry raspberry and a little earth, flavors carry through the palate adding some nice baking spice and a hint of tart raspberry with food. Layered and delicious good acidity and fine tannin. This bottle is rocking.

Young but with lots of potential. Ripe aromas of raspberry, cola & red licorice. The flavors match but add fresh red cherry and a hint of vanilla. Light tannins, moderate acidity. A touch jammy now but I see that integrating, this should be beautiful from 2015-2020.

Really enjoyable now. Rich cherry and raspberry on nose and palate, with long finish and minimal tannins. A touch of alcohol shows up as night goes on.

muddy with brownish red edges, aroma of dusty powder, deep dark entry with a finish that grows over time to lengthen

A bit disappointing…deep red light notes of berries with a hint of smoke, light tannins. Nothing wrong but just not very complex or exciting.

Truly brilliant. I am going to miss this bottling from Sineann (because the vineyard was sold).

Big and fruit forward. Probably needs a bit more time. Darker red and black fruits. Minimal tannins. Hold for a few more years.
