  • 13.7% - Clear, med to light ruby / clean, med intensity - rhubarb, bramble fruit, blueberry, nice spicy kick - cinnamon, some pinot earthiness in retro-olfaction / dry, med refreshing acidity, med intensity and body, soft tannin, nice chewy fruit and round texture which more than compensate for the med to short length.
Well paired with dry rubbed pork tenderloin on the BBQ.

As delicious on day 2, pretty glad I discovered that one before the summer starts - this will work with so many summer grills

  • Blackberry. Not the smartphone company, just the pure unadulterated bush fruit. Like a really good (but not mind-blowing) Burgundy, with dynamic fruit and a bit of earth, but richer and darker, and a long finish that melts in your lip-smacking mouth for a solid minute. If this is what good Gamay tastes like, I must explore further.
