Last bottle. On the slow decline, but much better than my previous one. These were really enjoyable and I'm sad to see them go. Especially since I'll probably never find the newer vintages at anything close to the $15 I paid for these. But who knows, oil dropped below $0 yesterday...

Apple, honey, peach, minerals, with a nice dose of lime on the finish. Unfortunately, the fruit tasted over-ripe too me, as if this bottle was past its prime. The acid was still there, but the fruit wasn’t. It did do better with some air, but overall, disappointing. I’d like to give Clemens Bush another try, but in the future, I’ll try drinking it younger.
A: medium gold, bright. N: honeyed, tropical fruits, nuts, hint of grapefruit. P: medium bodied, good acidity and length. Dry but not too much. Very good.

This bottle felt really advanced compared to my previous three. Brassy color, tertiary notes. Not terrible, but a shadow of the others. Not enough time has passed for that to be it's natural evolution, likely just bottle variation.

This is really good stuff. I recently tried the 2015 and was amazed at how much more weight the 2010 had put on. Rich with tropical fruit, but still a pretty steely, mineral drink with plenty of cut. Not sure I would pay full price for this, but at $15 this was an absolute steal.

Notes from day 1, bottle open for about 3 hours. Medium to light gold in color. Nose of pineapple rind, peach, minerals, spice. Palate of pineapple, papaya, white peach, minerals, spice. The finish was long in length and there was great minerality as well. Overall the wine was really good, with a nice punch up front, but lots of acidity to keep you going back for more. Drink or Hold: 50+5+13+18+7 4

Rieslingfeier (New York): Excellent bit, powerful wine. Steel, minerality, and an incredible entry on the palate of too many descriptors to bother. Spicy, botrytis richness. Integrates the alcohol very well (13.5???). Very high acid. A nice finish that is a battle of puckering acid and sweetness. One of my two favorites of the eight wines at the tasting.

Damn these are good. Heft but dry, breadfruit, other tropicals, good acidity. Just about the best $15 ever spent.

Apricot and slate, nicely off-dry with brilliant acidity.

This btl didn't really show well. Largely one dimensional. Perhaps a bit too oxidized. Still had great acid structure though.
