This is excellent right now. The bouquet hints at the bottle age with ripe red fruit and the palate is expressive and balanced. Enjoyed over two nights.

Marty & Bobbie P. Aromas of fresh, ripe red berries. Popped and Poured -- very tannic, needed at least 30 minutes to calm down. Bright, fresh, forward cherry and strawberry flavors, a bit of earth and oak. After an hour, became a bit more relaxed, mature. Very nice, but very middle of the road for this price.

Ok ... my first encounter was not as positive as this one. it was absolutely stunning (as long as you know that you are getting one of those more elegant and feminine RR). i thought this wine hit a sweet spot between finesse and elegance on one hand, and structure on the other. we had with slightly grilled trout, potatoes and asparagus ... i thoroughly enjoyed this right now. probably my favorite RR drinking in the last 3 months

i had this side-by-side w/ Chehalem reserve 2010. the RR 2010 was the better wine at least at this point in time. Quite enjoyable and more structure than the reserve ... just a more interesting, masculine version of the 2010

PnP-ed it. didn't care for it, but don't know if the house, Ribbon Ridge, or lack of serious decant. Preferred an '11 Ayres Pioneer Ribbon Ridge over this.

Twist off cap -- not withstanding -- very immature as compared to other 90 pt. rated Pinot Noir's. should be compare to others in their price range because this didn't live up to expectations. It maybe young, but it has a bitter harsh back taste not as smooth across the mouth as other good 90 pt. Pinots. Just my 2 cents worth.

Translucent ruby, complex nose of dark strawberry complicated by something earthy. At peak I think, no need to hold any longer.

on the soft and elegant side for an RR ... but true to the vintage. for a sunny Saturday happy hour it was terrific.

Oregon & Washington Tasting 11 March 2016 Stockholm; 3/12/2016-3/14/2016 (Munchenbryggeriet, Stockholm): Amazing wine. This is up there with the best of the Willamette. Nicely done. Classic Oregon pinot expression with ripe red and dark berries, zip, structure, balance and a lot of complexity on the nose already. Highly Recommended.

Willamette Valley Oregon Trip 4 & 1/2 Days; 7/29/2013-8/4/2013 (Willamette Valley, Oregon): Darker color, black raspberry, black cherry, deep berries, velvety texture, really glides across the palate. Very long and well balanced. Fine grain tannins, a touch of sour fruit on the palate. 92+pts to 93pts.

Nice Oregon PN. Good balance of sweet and sour cherry with a bit of earth underneath. Not a lot of complexity, but very enjoyable.
