  • Very good but I find it too expensive.

  • Dark shiny ruby color. Already the color implies that this is not your average light-bodied slightly watery CdN Villages... Still slightly muted, but beautiful nose of sweet red berries (strawberries, raspberries), dark minerality, some sweet spices and a touch of oak. On the palate there are also hints of menthol and tons of dark minerality again. It's medium+ bodied and pretty dense, with medium+ tannin that is still a little rough at the moment and fresh medium-high acidity. Very good length. I would still give it another 2-3 years in bottle to open up some more or give it a decant. A very pretty CdN that easily competes with most of the very good village-wines... (90+)
