Pure ruby red color. Raspberry with a honeysuckle hint. Start is all cherry. Tannins are mild and well rounded. Finish of tart raspberry with a little wet earth that lingers. Delightful drinker. Great bargain at 9 bucks.

Nice! This rekindled our interest in Malbec. The last Ruta 22 we had was a 2010, and it was good, but it seemed somewhat uninspired. This '11 seemed lively with great aromas, nice fruit, and a good finish. This is really good for the price, but better if you find it for $11 or less.

Purchase at a Greek restaurant that served it in small square, Mexican type beer glasses. Not wide and deep enough to be able to pick up much aroma,. Taste was consistent with Malbec character, brambly blackberries and vanilla. Good but average in all aspects

Good robust Argentinian Malbec. At 5 Bucks a bottle it is good value. Ripe smooth blackberry fruit and vanilla aromas it matched well with a pizza. Buy it if you see it.

The nose was grassy up front but benefited from sitting for an hour or so. Lots of red fruit up front... quick finish. Great value! Another bargain wine for everyday drinking.

A bit green on the p-n-p, but that blows off quick. Raspberry, plum. A bit soft, had me thinking "affordable" merlot as much as malbec, but pleasant enough as a midweek quaffer/pizza wine. Drink now.
