This is extremely velvety with good fruit and a muted oak note. Wonderful QPR, lacks complexity but extremely enjoyable and doesn't feel sticky at all.

No decanting here. We dont drink that much port so we will not provide a rating here. Surprisingly forward and round with no harshness of youth and "spiritness" of the port is well in check with ripe sweet fruit. Full of life and character but felt just a nice having it now in its youth. Will not disappoint but in no way a magical bottle.

1st Muted wood on the nose with currant, black fruits, and clove. Strong acidity with nice softly structured tannins. In the mouth clove, black fruit, earth and minerals. Tasty wine with nice balance. 3.5/5 2nd Clove anise, date, and hazelnut nose. High acid, with fine tannins. Flavors of grape, cherry, clove and cinnamon. 4/5

Glengarry Grand Tasting - Day 2; 9/1/2014-9/2/2014 (Glengarry Wines and Spirits, Victoria Park, Auckland, New Zealand): Dense purple. Rich, spice - tannic (fine and lean). Completely unevolved. This is firey at the moment with adequate fruit. This is outstanding but needs at least 10 years to fulfill its potential.
