Spectacular after about 30 minutes of air. Plum, deep strawberry, and a bit of dark chocolate on the nose. Similar profile on the palate with addition of some orange zest, dried thyme, perhaps a titch of oregano, and chocolate covered raspberries. Light in color, and relatively light on the palate. This should coast along for many more years, but delightful today for sure.

A very nice S Rhone that can compete with CNDP. Big body Gigondas at its best. Dark purple with garnet edge. Lots on the nose: sweet red and black fruit (raspberry and black plum) some green pepper notes along with licorice and then secondary vanilla and chocolate from the oak. On the palette is medium + intensity, raspberry and black plum again and a pretty long finish. The complex nose and length make this worth the price of entry - just! Palette feel like it may however be at or just over it’s peak. A nice package if you like your taste is for a strong bold Rhone. Not subtle, but rich and enjoyable. 90% Grenache and a splurge of 10% Syrah!

Popped and poured. This is a modestly-dark-red wine. On the nose, I get herbs, brush, wild raspberries, leather, lavender, and teriyaki sauce. In the mouth, this is smooth but slightly stony, with some nice bay leaf and small red fruit notes, all leaving a finish that is chewy but a bit stern. Overall, this has a great nose. I am not sure the precise blend, but would guess there is a decent bit of Syrah involved, especially given the high-powered nature of the wine and comparatively darker color. I think this still has room to grow. 91 points.

Notes on this bottle, open just a bit over a month after the last bottle, are almost entirely consistent. The score remains the same. Once again, the wine was open last night and still seems somewhat hard and unyielding. This is a bruiser. Would go best with ribs or barbecue. I.e., not for your holiday table.

This was sent to me by mistake by Wine Globe (it should have been the Hominis). Still though I'd give it a try, and opened it last night. Very dark in color, quite opaque. Big, rich, roasted coffee nose. Gamy, with smoky and smoked meat scents. Still quite tannic, this is a big wine that dominates every corner of the mouth. Grainy, gritty texture. Shows promise, but still very young. (Bobadopolis hit it right on the nose.) Needs time or food. 4-13-16-8: 91/100.

Harsh and astringent on opening, this wine was really at it's best at the end of the evening, after about 5 hours in the decanter. I understand that this wine is supposed to be approachable young, but based on this 1 bottle, I think this should improve nicely in the next few years. Next bottle 2019+

Well, it’s finer and more structure, with an incredible 35 secs final on some riped berries. This is a nice work that needs time to unfold. The dress isn’t that concentrated but this is well built up. 91-92+

Very good. Nor much to add to my previous note, other than to say it is it a great place right now. Time to enjoy this. No need to wait.

No detail notes - Brooding wine, yummy, big (not Napa big), nice floral aroma.... lots of life ahead, give it 30-60mins decant

Wow, beautiful wine. Almost rich flavor, dark, tannic, acidic, very concentrated, delicious. Long. Floral.
