This remains a fascinating white. A blend of at least five grapes it has no singular aroma and personality. Lovely floral spicy nose. Sort of like a heavy Viognier but more diverse. Very complex peach and spice flavor with long finish. This bottle was as good or better than I recall. Methinks it has at least five more years. Very interesting!

What an interesting white wine. Pale straw color. Intriguing floral. herbal nose. Flavors of riesling and gewurtz. Began at about 50 degrees F and it slowly warmed over about two hours. As it warmed it grew fuller and even more complex. Lovely!

Lovely wine for a late summer meal. There's a kaleidescope of aromas and flavors, covering greens, yellows and oranges. I found a grassiness dominated early, but air and a little warmer serving temp brought out riper fruit that moved to peach and then more tropical tones. Quite good as a food wine as well, as it does not overpower.

Pale tan in color. Somewhat reticent nose of peach, yeast and maybe a little earth. Also perhaps a hint of aspirin. Light on the palate with hard to pin down flavors of peach, mango, earth and maybe a pencil tip of graphite. Maybe. Moderately long on the finish. Better with time. Good for light aperitif or fish.

A-R Open House. Compared to the previous vintage I really thought I detected the influence of the "Alsatian" varieties in this one--the Gewurtz and Sylvaner--and this ended up reminding me of the wines made from Gewurtz, Riesling, or Pinot gris up in Mendocino. Emphasis is on the floral elements.

Loved the fruit, pineapple, rich, a little overpowering for light foods, but still beautiful wine

Father's Day, made my dijon chicken burgers and Summer sweet corn for the family, turned out to be a great pairing.
Pale yellow color.Peach, mango, earth/floral. Prior taster noted Alsatian style, ehich i think captures this wine. Crisp, sweetness mid palate. Medium finish.
Excellent wine for Summer - paired well with a spicy chicken, would be great with sea bass or salmon.
AR making great, unique, small production wines. This one was only 2.5 barrels.
