Light crunchy floral notes. Medium plus acidity. Green apple. Some richness here. Some beeswax. Medium finish. Very nice and excellent value at Berns for 21.95

Color was a pale yellow-green. Viscous for sure, but it didn't really coat my mouth like some other reviewers. Nose was very floral, very pleasant, with strong rose, honeysuckle, and maybe something vaguely fruity like orange blossoms. I totally get the comparison to Gewurztraminer. Palette was spicy, as it should be, with a fair bit of brightness early on fading to generic floral-ness later. Seems like there was something else trying to come through, but we couldn't pick it out. Taste was kind of a letdown after the great bouquet. Finish was average and floral.
This is a wine that has been described here as "unrefined," or similar. That is kind of true, but for a South American varietal done in Argentina, it seems fitting.

Think about it: 9 bucks for this very quafable wine. Had some before dinner and with roasted salmon and broccoli. Floral, apricot/citrus tastes, slight citrus, almost gewurtz-like. No big deal, yet quite pleasant. Did I mention the people who like to go down to my cellar and take out the Rombauers to quaff? 9 bucks. I need to keep 2 or 3 bottles around to placate my good friends who drink booze. Also want to try with mussels.

Light, yet an oily mouth feel. Floral with grapefruit notes and some tropical over-tones. Short finish. Need to try some other producers of this grape. It's an in-expensive bottle and it tastes a bit watery (but very good for the price). There is an after-taste that lingers that isn't completely desirable, like of like a sour melon. Would go much better than food than as a sipping wine on the back porch.

Can't quite decide what to make of this one. It's interesting- seems like different flavors come through with each sip. Pours a medium yellow and smells like flowers. Almost reminds me of a gewurz, but this is eminently more drinkable and with the addition of citrus. Mouthfeel is heavier that I am used to - almost oily. Fruit flavors I can't quite place- lychee with some peach apricot as well. Feels a bit strong and slightly too sweet - but makes me want to try this grape again in a more refined version. Feel like it has potential. Could probably be appreciated more with the right food- not bad as an accompaniment to fish tacos.

Light golden color. Very fragrant aroma of lychee, a touch of orange, honey and peach. There is also a mineral undertones. The mineral and acid component wraps the initial touch of sweetness and finishes with a bitter edge (citrus pith) and lingering acidity.

Floral oily nose with some lychee, almost gewurz-like but slightly more citrus. Fat oily mouthfeel, high alcohol, low acid, quite long finish. Nice if a little brute-ish. Lacks the gentler harmony and acid-alcohol integration of better Torrontés. $8.50. 13.5%

Wonderfully floral nose. Like a high quality German wine. Palate has nice citrus and lychee fruit with balanced acidity. Palate was a little one dimensional but still pleasing. Really good value at $9.50.

Used it mainly to cook mussels and the recipe worked better with a Sauvignon Blanc. This wine was pretty flat in terms of fruit and the finish was very soft. First try with Torrontes and I will try again with a different bottle.

Incredibly floral. I hoped for a little more fruitiness, but all I got was a florist.

A bit soapy. And a bit funky. Some citrus. I wouldn't spit it out but I wouldn't buy it again. I guess that makes me neutral
