I like the way this wine combines regional and varietal character. Dark ruby colour. Expressive nose of cedar and capsicum alongside blueberries, eucalypt and liquorice. Rich, balanced and faiely complex with a long aftertaste. Personally I prefer it to the Portrait Shiraz which is sweeter and less structured.

A pleasure to drink this with a good rib-eye steak! Lovely aromas of blackcurrants and cocoa, smooth rich berry fruit and dark chocolate on the palate, lovely integrated oak and a good long finish.

Great Cost Performance! Blackcurrant and Licorice on the nose and palate. Just a tad hot in the aftertaste but overall a very well made Cabernet Sauvignon made in the very hot region of Barossa. A solid fruit driven wine that will go well at barbecue party.

Okay Barbecue wine for ribs splashed with bbq sauce. Otherwise, this is not a wine that is easily paired with food.
The wine was correct and true to the region and I give it a generous "good" wine score of 80.

Aromas of cassis and then lots of pure blackcurrant fruit and some vanilla oak, supported by softening tannins.
