Well...two years later since my last note on this wine On nose:dried apricot , present oak and vanilla . On palate:after a one hour decant ,this wine , in addition to the above flavours , it displayed hints of creme brulee , burnt almond notes , Seville orange and a full rather alcoholic body, with diminishing acidity ....a pleasant wine on its last arc of drinkability ....if you have any , drink up......NOT a seafood wine .... went well with roast chicken and vinegar based Carolina pork back ribs .

So, we've had this bottle for quite awhile, and it is slightly past the community drinking window. That said, this viognier was still very decent, and I'd give it possibly another year or two beyond now (and submitted a 2020 end date). It was moderately dry, but as it warmed up, a touch of sweetness came through. At the end of the day, this was still quite a nice bottle - just don't drink it super-chilled.
Mineral, well balanced with exotic fruity notes. Honestly taste crispy but very alcoholic, drinkable for other couple years. defenitly good wine, money worth

crisp and clean with mineral and a few floral notes. Would not have guessed that this was viognier, but it is well balanced a good quaff. D2 a few exotic notes but still crisp--add a point

Clear light yellow. Very delicate nose of lemon, white flowers and melon. Viscous appearance, sticks to the side of the glass. Delicious and balanced. Very nice wine.
Unfortunately it was followed by a Merde de Soliel chardonnay that killed the palate for a while. Brutal.

Pale yellow medium body wine. Nice minerality with a short finish. The wine did not "open up" which tells me that it might still be too young to drink.

At first a little too fruity on the nose, but with some air it mellowed. Lacking the vanilla and honeysuckle that I look for in a great Viognier, but plenty of free cut flowers and mineral notes. Very smooth mouth feel.

Peach, almond, jasmine, and red earth spicy mineral notes on the nose. The palate is a touch thin for Viognier (likely due to the 14.2%alc) it also shows some lees influence in the mouth but in a doughy way rather than volume building. A touch hot in the finish. Nice nose, and happily not over oaked like so many Aussie versions but too disappointing on the palate to warrant the price. Drink now through 2016.

nice mix of quince, slate/tin, peach and more; a touch of honey on the tip of the tongue but very dry otherwise; medium body. Very nice california viognier.

more nectarine/mango as it warms up, but still retains some crispness and mineral.

floral nose; clean lemon/lime with some slate and quince; good but slightly coarse acidity; good intensity.
