Good Solid Barolo - It was a good producer from a great vintage that had been properly stored. Expected it to be outstanding but it was good but not great. Tannins still hadn’t fully resolved. Some of the expected tertiary notes that should had been there weren’t showing through. Had with beef carpaccio.

Classic. Cherry, orange, cranberry, licorice, espresso. Full-bodied, with a creamy texture. Intense, with beautiful acidity and mature tannins. Fresh, complex and moreish finish. Long. Drink now - 2035.

Needed about an hour to open up. After that truly stunning. Requires food to sing. Shows signs of maturity but will last for many more years. Next try in 2 years?

Very decent Barolo. But not really a high flyer. More fruit than 2 years ago and less tightness to the end. But € 80,= for this bottle, well give my portion to Fikkie (the dog)…

Really nice. Lovely elegant nose, great intensity. Rather tight and with solid tannins despite the age. Will improve over the next 2-3 years. Beyond that I’m not sure. The fruit is subdued now, maybe because of the tannins, maybe simply because the fruit is waning - hard to say.

A delicate and elegant wine. The nose is subtle almond extract/cherry pit with a touch of orange peel. On the palate is more of the same but a bit darker and deeper. I like the strong acidity. It is more ethereal than forceful and its delicacy could be easily overwhelmed by a strong flavored dish. I also found it was at its best a little warmer,modern room temperature, than I usually drink my red wines.

Young wine but open for business. Pure red fruited nose with some pot puri, and thank goodness no evidence of oak. Nicely balanced with a beautiful weightlessness and the tannins kiss the tongue then fan out. Day 3 was the best drinking, many years ahead.

Lidt stram i betrækket sidste gang jeg smagte denne vin og havde egentlig besluttet mig for at vente 3-5 år, men.. Tog en flaske med til en smagning og hvilken oplevelse! Super fløjelsblød og - for en Nebbiolo - relativ bløde tanniner. Flot, flot vin, der er klar nu og som vil holde mange år endnu. Enjoy!

Still very primary. Blueberries, blackberries, cherries, a minty freshness and a silky texture and fantastic length. Still massive acidity and tannins, and I'm sure it will develop from here, but wow is it already an extremely interesting and complex wine.

Duplo-decanter por 4:30hs fez toda a diferença. Este vinho jovem antes demonstrava apenas aroma sendo até ruim na boca evoluiu espetacularmente e ficou excepcional na boca e no nariz demonstrando toda a tipicidade e características dos bons parolos. Há muito potencial de guarda pois o vinho irá evoluir bastante. Por agora ele está 91-92 pts.

Først lidt lukket næse. Efter nogen tid i glasset kommer den dejligste duft frem med røde bær. Røde kirsebær, jordbær og lidt ribs. Derudover blomstrende røde roser, lakrids, kamfercreme a la et oldboys omklædningsrum og til sidst sød bourbonvanille fra fadet. Fantastisk lækkert og flere og flere nuancer. I munden ikke helt samme niveau som næsen. Først i den syrerige ende med ribs og umodne kirsebær. Og bagefter tager tanninerne godt fat og fortsætter i en god lang eftersmag. Tror denne vin vil udvikle sig mange, mange år endnu og tænker, at jeg checker op næste gang om 3-5 år.

Double decanted for 6 hours. Drank the wine over 5 hours. This is a very focused showing of cannubi 10, powerfull wine! Light colour orange rim. The nose shows; ripe cherries covered in dark chocolate, marzipan, tar, leather, plums madeira , violets, licorice and green herps. Very complex and very concentrated. It has high acidity and high tannins! At this state it is not for everyone but it is very well balanced. In the mouth the fruit follow the tannins all the way through. It is very, very well balanced! This wine no doubt will be 95 + but needs some time to get there.

Dark ruby, red fruits, sharp acidity and pronounced tannins. This wine didn't show very well compared to other 2010's a tasted on the night but is still a baby. I'm sure it will improve but don't go near it now.

Here more wood smoke, wonder if that is some new wood showing through. Not the worse for it I suppose. Actually, I like the sexiness of the Terlo more, which probably says something about me.
